Popularly known as the “Paradise on Earth”, Kashmir is world famous for itsĀ scenic splendour, snow-capped mountains, plentiful wildlife, exquisite monuments, hospitable people and local handicrafts. Picturesque and enchanting, Kashmir is cradled high in the lofty green Himalayas and hailed all over the world for its incredible natural beauty. Surrounded by mountain peaks, lush green valleys, glistening lakes, temples and spectacular Mughal-era gardens, it has inspired poets through centuries.

Itinerary

Your Splendors of Kashmir tour starts once you reach Srinagar airport/station. Srinagar is a major city in India renowned for its valley, lakes, and Mughal gardens. On arrival, you will be welcomed by a representative (outside the airport) who will transfer you to Jetty at Dal Lake. Upon arrival at the Jetty, transfer to your houseboat and check in.Ā 
Enjoy 1-hour shikara ride in the evening.Ā 
Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel atĀ SrinagarĀ and proceed to Pahalgam, which is one of the hidden gems in Kashmir. Pahalgam is renowned for its vegetation and is also called the ā€˜valley of shepherds’. En-route visit Awantipura Ruins. It is recommended to leave fromĀ SrinagarĀ at aroundĀ 8 AMĀ to avoid traffic and reach Pahalgam.
Check in at the hotel.Ā 
Embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley (on own cost)Ā Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. After your tour enjoy the evening at leisure.Ā 
Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, check out from Pahalgam and proceed toĀ Srinagar.
Check inn hotel after relax start for an excursion to Shankaracharya Hill Temple, Grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh) and Pari Mahal.Ā 
After the visit return to the hotel.
Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Sonamarg a mesmerizing hill station in the Ganderbal district of Kashmir. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests,Ā 87kms fromĀ Srinagar, 3 hours journey, 2800mts aboveĀ sea level. It is called:Ā Golden meadow ā€œAt the head of the river Sind with beautiful mountains and glaciers.Ā 
After your tour enjoy the evening return back toĀ Srinagar.Ā 
Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

After early breakfast proceed to GulmargĀ ‘Meadow of Flowers’ it is encased by glimmering snow peaked alps, verdant green pastures, colorful meadows, deep valleys and pine covered slopes. Because you are not staying in Gulmarg hence it is recommended to leave early aroundĀ 8 AMĀ fromĀ SrinagarĀ to avoid traffic and enjoy Gondola ride on time.Ā (Gondola ride up to Khilanmarg is not included in theĀ packageĀ but the same can be purchased online and Gondola ride strongly depends on weather conditions)Ā
